This is Heartfelt, my newest shawl pattern, this shawl was designed purposely to use one of those ‘special’ skeins of yarn, you know the one, that super pretty/expensive yarn you bought and have been saving for something special. This shawl lets you wear your heart on your shoulder and show you yarn just how much you love it.
Heartfelt is knit from end to end so you can make it any length and included within the pattern is details on working out how to calculate how much yarn you will need to save for the decrease section.
You will need as little as 300 yards / 275 metres of 4ply / fingering weight yarn and 4mm/US6 needles. There is also optional beading, if you want to add beads then you will need at least 84 size 6 beads and a small crochet hook with which to add them. The pattern also includes full details on how to add beads to your knitting.
The pattern has both charted and written instructions and is suitable for an advanced beginner, experience of lace knitting may be an advantage.
